What happens if I miss a class? |
There may be times a student is not able to make it to class. To qualify for ICF certification you are only allowed to miss up to four classes. For each class missed the student needs to watch the recorded class before the next class so he/she does not fall behind. If the student misses more than four classes he/she will need to make up the classes at a cost to the student. The ICF has a requirement that the training needs to be live and interactive. In summary, 80% of the course hours must be attended personally so you receive live interactive training and meet the ICF requirements.

Do you have payment plans? |
Payment plans are not something we advertise as an offering. But, we do not want people to miss the training if they need extra time to pay. We offer a payment plan as follows: All tuitions need to be paid as the class progresses. For example, if half the course has been completed then half the tuition needs to be paid and so forth to the end of the program. We will need to charge a small administration fee of $119.00 for any payment plans.

Can I pay for the class in my currency $?
|
Yes. We charge in Canadian dollars. If you pay in your currency it will be calculated and converted into Canadian dollars. Currency rates will be determined on the date and time of the transaction. (Presently, the Euro and US dollars are stronger so the price charged will be less for those using currency other than the Canadian dollar.)

ACTP stands for Accredited Coach Training Program and ACSTH stands for Approved Coach Specific Training Hours. The difference between the two designations with the ICF is that the ACTP is a coach training program that has more than 125 hours of training and the ACSTH is less than 125 hours. Typically most programs offered with ACSTH currently do not include the 10 hours of Mentor Training. At the Rayner Institute we include the 10 hours of Mentor Training hours in both our ACSTH and ACTP programs. The quality of training is not determined by either designation. It is the number of hours of training that separates the two programs.
Some people ask about the words APPROVED vs ACCREDITED training program; there were many differences in the certification process in the past that have all been eliminated, balancing out the two designations for certification purposes. There is a cost difference in the certification process. ACTP is $100.00 and ACSTH is $300.00. The reason for the difference is again the number of hours of training. If you have your 125 or more training hours you can apply for a ACTP certification through the ICF as long as you have the required minimum of 100 coaching hours. If you have less than 125 hours of training the certification fee is $300.00 with at least 100 coaching hours of experience required. |

The Rayner Institute has a cancellation policy that protects both the attending student and the school. We want the new students to be protected as they venture into professional coach training.
Here are the details of our refund policy: • Upon registration: refund 75% of the course tuition. • Before class #7 is attended, there will be 50% refund of the course tuition. • Before class # 13 is attended, there will be 25% refund of the course tuition. • After class #13 is attended, there will be no refund granted for the duration of the class. There is a total of 20 classes in each of the programs. We provide new information as the classes progress. The material and live training have been created to effectively teach a skill and also provide information that will aid the student in greater coaching ability and awareness. We are providing proprietary information that will be presented throughout the ten-week program. The natural breaks are at week 7 and 13 which are deemed in place to break up the program for a potential refund if the student so requests. We want to make sure you be safe and secure in your training with the Rayner Institute. |
