The training outlined below is comprehensive, providing you with all the necessary training to be a fully certified and accredited Executive  Coach. The course described below is 65 hours and qualifies for ACSTH through the International Coach Federation.

Week 1


01

INTRODUCTION 
​

Your instructor/s will introduce you to the Self-Actualized Model. The technology and your classroom structure will be reviewed in detail. You and your classmates from different parts of the world will be introduced to each other. This time will be used to create a trusting learning community for optimum learning. You will be establishing the insights around Executive Coach Training.

CORE COMPETENCIES, ETHICS AND SELF-ACTUALIZATION OVERVIEW

This class will explore the Core Competencies, Ethics, the self-actualization levels along with examples and how it all applies to coaching and mentoring at the various levels. • 11 Competencies • 28 Ethics • Basic Needs • Safety Needs • Love and Belonging Needs • Esteem Needs • Higher order and Growth needs • Aesthetic Needs • Self-Actualization Needs • Moral Needs • Transcendence Needs.

INTRODUCTION TO THE SELF-ACTUALIZATION MODEL - TETRAHEDRON
 

How do you coach to a state of self-actualization? What does coaching a person to self-actualization look like and what effects does it have on your client's ability to identify an imagined future? You will learn the steps to move towards it.  • The levels of the Foundation • Discovery • S.A.F.E. to Empowerment.

THE POWER OF AWARENESS
 

Again an interactive class where you will learn the power of awareness in a coaching and mentoring conversation.  • Conscious thoughts and desires • Subconscious beliefs and the power they have over your client • How to move past the invisible barrier your client is dealing with • Command centre and engine room analogy - All aboard • Coaching practice in class and being mentored by the facilitator.

TRUST, PRESENCE AND COMMUNICATION

This class teaches you how to establish trust and a coaching presence. You will discover coaching presence and the power it has in the conversation. • Six steps to establish trust and intimacy • Seven steps in establishing coaching presence • Five steps in effective direct communication • Coaching practice in class and being mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

ACTIVE LISTENING AND POWERFUL QUESTIONING

You will learn how to master the skill of active listening and powerful questioning through a lecture and a hands-on exercise in class.  • Six types of active listening positions • The five do's and don'ts in powerful questioning • Powerful questioning throughout the six levels of the model • Coaching practice in class and being mentored by the facilitator.

REVIEW SELF-ACTUALIZED COACHING MODEL
​

This class will review what you have learned to date with the application of this knowledge. You now have an opportunity to dive deeper into the model. Time to blend review and new material in another interactive class giving opportunity to practice what you have learned. • Six levels of the Self-Actualization Model • Navigate through the coaching session confidently • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

CREATING AWARENESS AND DESIGNING ACTIONS

Awareness is your best friend for both you and your client. The more clarity in a person's life the better able they are to move towards what they want to be, do or have in their lives. You will learn how to assist your client in this conversation for more clarity and then designing actions that support their desired future. • Frog Story • Nine steps for facilitating and learning results • Eight steps to designing actions • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

PLANNING, GOAL SETTING AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Are you responsible for your client's actions and results? •Five steps to developing planning and goal setting •  Ten steps that outline managing and accountability. Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

RAPPORT

Not only will you learn how to establish a healthy rapport with your client, you will also learn what proper rapport makes possible for both you and your client.  • Three types of rapport • Appreciative Inquiry overview • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

UNDERSTANDING QUESTIONING

In this class, you will learn the categories of questioning and the power they have in different situations. • Proper and improper questions • Questions that challenge • Questions that open up your client • Questions that draw out the information from your client • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate • Coach someone from outside of class.

WHAT IS, WHAT IS NOT AND ILLUSIONS

In this class, you will learn that "All behavior makes perfect sense". The things you do and do not do on a regular basis have a direct link to what you believe is and is not safe. • Four steps to understanding how you show up to the world • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate.

BELIEFS AND REPROCESSING SUBCONSCIOUS BELIEFS

Resolving unresolved issues can be a problem for many people when trying to create positive change in their lives. In this class, you will get a live, practical opportunity to see first how to identify the beliefs and second how to dissolve the falseness around what it is you believe.  • Hindering you from obtaining what it is you want from life • Keeping you safe or not • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate • Coach someone from outside of class for compensation.

MENTORING AND IT'S IMPORTANCE IN COACHING

Your instructor will illustrate how a coaching conversation can be incomplete without the use of mentoring. Pure coaching draws out the insights from your client while mentoring provides insights based on lived experience from the coach/mentor. • Do's and do not's when it comes to mentoring • Common mistakes made in most coaching conversations • The mistakes made in the heat of the conversation that will lead your client down the wrong path • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate • Coach someone from outside of class for compensation.

I AM, YOU ARE, IT IS

The Self-actualization coaching model foundation sits on the principles of "I am", "You are" and "It is".  In this class, you will experience first hand the power of combining the three and the empowerment it brings to your client. Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate • Coach someone from outside of class for compensation.

S.A.F.E.

What is S.A.F.E.?  Safe is where the client is to arrive at the end of the coaching conversation. It supports the client and is designed to have the client leave the conversation with a tangible takeaway.  • Self-actualized • Accepting • Free • Empowered • Coaching practice in class and be mentored by the facilitator • Coach after class with your classmate • Coach someone from outside of class for compensation.

REVIEW AND CELEBRATION

Completion! This class is an in-depth review of the material shared and final words on the next steps for the students. The experiences of the class get shared with everyone and, as we like to say here at the Rayner Institute, "You will have to do the work to do the work." These twenty classes will have been a hands-on experience.  We will take you through the classes you had taken and discuss. This program was designed for you to get practical hands-on price and experience coaching in various situations to prepare you for coaching in the active world of life. Once you complete the testing phase of the course, you will be ready to start coaching and mentoring in any area of life.   Congratulations!
