    I have read, and understand the Student Policies as stated below.

Student Policy Wording​

 
​1)   Payment


a)    The fee schedule for Rayner Institute Ltd Coaching is:
i)     Deposit - $499.00
ii)   Cost of the Self Actualization ACC Program is based on the level of training the student is requesting. (Basic, Advanced or Elite)
     (1) The balance of tuition is due one week before the start of the first class.
     (2) Or a payment plan is established prior to class starting.
 
iii) Cost of the Self Actualization PCC Program is based on the level of training the student is requesting. (Basic, Advanced or Elite)
     (1) The balance of tuition is due one week before the start of the first class.
     (2) Or a payment plan is established prior to class starting.
 
iv) Cost of the Self Actualization MCC Program is based on the level of training the student is requesting. (Basic, Advanced or Elite)
      (1) The balance of tuition is due one week before the start of the first class.
      (2) Or a payment plan is established prior to class starting.
 
b)   Payments on payment plans must be kept current.
      i)     There is an admin fee for each term of the repayment plan selected.  
     ii)   If payments are not kept up-to-date, students will not be allowed to continue in the program.
c)    Graduation certificate will not be released if tuition and any related fees are outstanding.

 2)   Refund Policy
​

 Here are the details of our refund policy:
After registration:
(1) Deposit is not refundable.
(2) The course tuition paid over and above the deposit before classes start will be reimbursed at 75%. Once a student is registered, the student has access to all learning material, coaching forms etc. To be fair there will be a 75% refund of any monies paid above the deposit if the student does not attend any classes. 
(a) Example: Student pays $4,899 for her class and withdraws before class start the refund will be as follows:
(b) $4899.00 – 499 = $4,400.00.  75% of 4,400 will be refunded. $3,300 is the refund amount.
(3) Before class #7 is attended, there will be 50% refund of the course tuition over and above the deposit. 
(4) Before class # 13 is attended, there will be 25% refund of the course tuition over and above the deposit.
ii)   After class #13 is attended, there will be no refund granted for the duration of the class. 
There is a total of 20 classes in each of the programs over a ten week period.

3)   Withdrawal
 
a)    Should a student wish to withdraw from the program, the faculty requests a conversation with the student first.    
 
4)   Dispute Resolution Policy
 

a)    Any dispute including, but not limited to fees, refunds, requirements for graduation, evaluations will be dealt with as follows:
       i)  If the conflict is not resolvable through an initial conversation, the faculty of the program requests a written description of the issue and request              for resolution.
      ii) Upon receipt of this written dispute notice, the designated faculty member and the Director of training will arrange a conversation with the
            person who has submitted the dispute 
– via conference call.
      iii) If the dispute is not resolved, the issue will be mediated by a neutral third party.
       iv) In the event a resolution is not met, the decisions made by the school will be final.

5)   Dismissal Policy
 
a)    Students are expected to always conduct themselves in a professional manner. Students are expected to adhere to professional conduct, and the Code of Conduct set out below. Failure to do so will result in the student being dismissed from the program.

6)   Student Code of Conduct
 

a)    Students are expected to always conduct themselves professionally. Students are expected to behave in such a manner that creates a supportive, harmonious learning environment where individuals feel comfortable in stepping out of the comfort zone and fully participating in new learning experiences. The following list describes the general guidelines.
     i)  Be on time for all learning activities. 
    ii)   Always speak your truth. If it is uncomfortable to speak to another student, see the faculty for assistance in resolving any situation that may arise.
    iii) To preserve the powerful learning environment that the faculty strives to create, any dispute, conflict or “situation” with a faculty member or
           classmate must be resolved immediately. A student with an 
“issue” is asked to immediately work with a faculty member to resolve such a
           situation.

     iv) Be respectful of all class participants and supportive and encouraging in all learning.
       v) Any student wanting to sell or promote their products or services within the class or with other classmates is not permitted without written
            permission from the Rayner Institute Administration. The faculty must first approve any sales or soliciting of any product or service.

 
7)   Rayner Institute Certification
 
a)    Complete all the live training classes.  Some of the classes are allowed to be missed as per the International Coach Federation policy. (See most current policy at the ICF site). The missed class time will need to be made up by watching the classroom recordings. The student is responsible for watching the videos of any missed classes to stay current with the class.
b)   Complete a written exam and achieve 75% or better as a passing grade. Complete the exam within two weeks following the completion of the course.
c)    Complete an oral exam. You will coach a client and record the session. Make sure the client has provided permission to have a third party (Rayner Institute certification facility) review the recording for grading purposes. After the Rayner Institute grades the recording, it will be destroyed.
d)   If successful with the written and oral portions of the program you will receive your Rayner Institute Certificate via pdf electronic communication email pending all tuition has been paid in full.
e)    Please note that for your application for the first level of credentialing from the ICF, Associate Certified Coach, please refer to the ICF for the most up to date requirements.  
 ​
8)   Class Instruction will include:
 
a)    ACC Class - 
i)     Ten weeks consisting of 20 classes each three hours long (20-minute break). Five hours of self-study. Total training credit will be 65 hours. Ten hours of in-class mentoring.
 
b)   PCC Class - 
i)     Twenty weeks consisting of 40 classes each three hours long (20-minute break). Ten hours of self-study. Total training credit will be 135 hours.  Twenty hours of in-class mentoring.
 
c)    Master Class - 
i)     Thirty weeks consisting of 60 classes each three hours long (20-minute break). Fifteen hours of self-study. Total training credit will be 205 hours. Thirty hours of in-class mentoring.
 
d)   During class, there is an opportunity to discuss with faculty and fellow learners any questions that have emerged during the program.
 ​
9)   Final written and oral exams.
a)    Written exam
i)     The passing grade of the written exam is 75%
ii)   The student has 2 weeks or 14 days from the last class to complete the written exam.
iii) If the written exam is not received within this time frame, a mark of zero will be awarded.
iv) If the student is not successful in obtaining a passing grade for the written exam, an administration fee of $125.00 is required to re-take the exam and have it marked.
v)   The final exams will not be returned to the student. However, the exam can be reviewed with the examining facility.
vi) If the student wants a detailed review, they may do so by speaking directly with the examiner.  There will be a fee of $125 per hour.  Any portion of an hour will be rounded up to an hour. 
 
b)   Oral Exam
i)     The oral exam marking scale is found in the ICF webpage at https://coachingfederation.org/msrfor ACC, PCC, and MCC.
ii)   A passing grade for the oral exam is 80%
iii) The students have no time limit to complete the oral exam.
iv) If the student wants a detailed review, of the oral exam, they may do so by speaking directly with the facilitator who marked the oral exam.  There will be a fee of $150.00 per hour.  Any portion of an hour will be rounded up to an hour.
v)   If the student is not successful in obtaining a passing grade in the oral exam, then the student will need to:
vi)  Obtain at least one hour of coach mentor training from one of the facilitators at the Rayner Institute. $ 150.00 for this service.
vii)  Re-record another coaching session and pay an administration fee of $250.00 to have it marked.
 ​
10)   Student Pledge:
a)    I have read the Student Policies Document and agree to abide by and adhere to all within.
